The wait was finally over. Today, Thursday 26th November, we finally found out how much money we raised for Children In Need.

Anil Karrar from Lloyds Bank presented a cheque for £1041.36. Anil said, “It was a great pleasure working with Holyhead School as we thought we could have a real good impact on this school.” We were all very proud of Corwen and all their hard work to make this happen.

Lots of teachers and students from various years had helped. Mrs Wade, Mr Wright along with the form captains of Corwen donated time and money to buy and sell food and Pudsey ears as well as elaborate mehndi designs.

The event started off as very calm and exciting, but as time went on it became quite lively and crowded. Mrs.Wade said, “I expected it to be quite small but it turned out to be quite packed and crowded.” The atmosphere was very exciting as it felt like a carnival. Well done Corwen!
