All student absences need to be reported via ParentMail. You need to do this in order to stop teachers contacting your child to discuss non-completion of work. If they are not ill, they should be completing work. We will issue negative MyPoints and contact home for all students not doing the work set. We want to avoid unnecessary offence. Please make sure you let us know if your child is ill. We will pass this on to their teachers.

As you are aware the school is 'closed to students' from an educational perspective until further notice (except children of Key Workers as per Government guidelines).

We do understand that many parents will be working from home and home learning will look very different to school. Teachers are planning to work to provide some stability for both students and parents and they will be working on this on a daily basis. We cannot emphasise enough on how the immediate priority must be the mental and physical health and wellbeing of all members of the household.

We fully understand that this is a period of huge social upheaval.

Students have had assemblies last week explaining the arrangements in detail.

Students are to complete homework set by Subject Teachers on Google Classroom between 8.40am to 3.20pm Monday to Friday (please make sure your child is taking frequent breaks in between).

Should your child be unable to complete their homework everyday from Monday to Friday due to illness, symptoms of Coronavirus or any other reasons please report the reason via ParentMail on the absence section.

If you are not registered, please email with below details and we will send you a link to register:

* Your child's name

* Year

* Your email address

This will enable us to ensure your child is receiving the right educational needs whilst at home

If you child does not have access to a laptop/ PC or internet, please email as a matter of urgency so we can arrange for a pack to be collected from school.
