Curriculum Overview Health & Social Care 2019-2020

In Health and Social Care (H&SC), students get to know the H&SC sector, develop knowledge skills and best practice in addition to applying learning to real-life scenarios. Students will gain fundamental knowledge and understanding of the following topics: human growth and development, how people deal with major life events and H&SC services. Students will also have the ability to practically demonstrate care values and reflect on their own performance. H&SC at Holyhead enables students to progress to Level 3 academic or vocational courses in H&SC.
