Curriculum Overview Media and Film Studies 2019-2020

Students at Holyhead have the option to study GCSE Media Studies from Year 9 onwards. During this three year course students develop practical and theoretical skills in Year 9, along with some examination content. This is built-upon in later years where students complete and revise examination content on a range of media types as well as completing a piece of practical coursework. Please note, for 2017-18 students in Year 11 will be finishing their course of study for a different specification that is running for the last time this year.
