A Level

We are very pleased with the A-Level results. With, 17% of students achieving A*-A, 50% A*-B and 83% A*-C and have once again achieved great results which shows a continued sign of progress. There were some truly outstanding individual performances. These results have helped the vast majority of our students to transition on to the next step of their educational journey be it to the University or Apprenticeships of their choice.

We have achieved ALPS Grade 3 for both A-Level and BTEC Level 3 which keeps us in the top 25% of providers nationally, something that we are proud of. This is a reward for all the amazing effort and support that the staff have put into the teaching and development of the young people who finished last year.

GCSE

"Parents who send their children to Holyhead can be assured that they get a good deal"
We remain a popular choice because students meet their academic targets and can access post 16 courses.

Many students surpassed their targets and achieved some truly amazing results! There were lots of happy faces on results day.  Almost everyone has been able to continue with a Sixth Form or College study route.

Overall, it has been a very positive year at both GCSE and A-Level.
